So I was really excited to work on this photo. I loved the way the pose looked, and I have been really enjoying these lofi remixes of classic songs, and this one really stuck out to me. I wanted to do something that sort of captured a bit of that old classic vibe, and this came out exactly how I wanted. In all honesty, it was Loxely’s amazing look that helped set the tone for this, from her hairstyle to the clothing choice, it just meshed well with what my vision was. I know the nosebleed was a bit of a random choice, but in my head, I wanted to portray a man down on his luck, a man whose been beaten down, which you can see in the stoicism of his gaze, but despite that, found love and peace in the arms of a gal he adored. I really adored this photo, and I plan on using it for a long time as my cover. Of course, many thanks to Loxely for her help, her patience, and her cooperation on this project!
